text not displayed in word 2007

I have open a document only to find its displaying no text even throught the
charactors count in the botton left hand corner states there are over 30,00
charactors . I dont have this problem with any other old or new files and am
woundering if it to do with upgradeing from the trail to the full version of
word .

Perhaps, for whatever reason, the text is coloured white.   In this case,
CTRL-A to select all text, then change text colour back to black.

That's the only thing I can think of!
