In Office 2007 I have added several check boxes to my form. I cannot figure
out how to be able to click on them have have a check appear. I read in one
of the other discussion streams that protecting the form will do it. When I
clicked on protect form it will not allow me to select the "start protection"
button.

What type of check boxes?

From the Legacy Controls collection or Active X Controls

For the former, when you click on Protect Document in the Developer tab, you
then need to check on Restrict Format and Editing and then check the Editing
Restrictions button and from the pulldown select Filling in Forms.  Then
click on the Yes, Start Enforcing Protection button.

For the latter, you must exit the Design mode.

Thank you. I used boxes from Legacy. I think the problem was that my computer
had disabled macros, when I re-enabled them then I was able to get to the
Start Enforcing Protection. Thanks again for your time!
