When doing a mail merge and trying to import dates from the recepient list
(an excell document) to a word document, all dates appear on US format, even
though all my language and regional settings are for Ireland. Does anybody
have a solution for this, please? Thank you

Hi Antonio,

You need to edit the field codes. Press Alt+F9 in the main merge document.
Locate the merge fields containing date information and add a formatting
switch. For example:

{Mergefield MyDate \@ "d-MMM-yyyy" }

Would give a result like: 31-May-2008

Alt+F9 again to hide the field codes.
