I have just spotted that all my invoice documents are getting bigger. I am in the habit of taking the last one I produce, and making relevent changes. The oldest I have is around 30kB - which is fine - but the latest one is over 600kB. Even if I delete the entire visible content of the document, it is still over 500kB. What is Word doing, apart from filling up my hard disk? (In Tools... Options... Save tab) In rough terms, 'fast save' appends changes to the end of the file, instead of writing the whole thing. The next place I'd look is in your macros, and if that doesn't work, then I'd try looking at your Word docs using a text editor to try and see what all of the extra material is.
