Typesetting a Book in Word

I am about to typeset a book in Word. I have figured out the font and so
forth. But to make it camera ready for the printer as a 6 x 9 book, do I
still need to import it into Adobe and make it a .PDF file? Thanks!

You really need to speak to the printer about what format he can accept.
