Everytime I try to print something in WORD, I have to go and change my page
size/layout from a INDEX card to a standard 8.5x11.  Is there a way to make
it default ALL the time to 8.5x11 without having to change it every time I
print a document?

Thanks!

Find and open NORMAL.DOT and set your defaults there.  Then close it and
create a new normal document and you'll have exactly what you set in the
template file.

I have WInXP and did a search for normal.dot and could not find that file.

when you search with XP, be sure to check the box in the search options
"Find hidden and system files".
