Hi,
I use Word within Office XP and all the templates default
to US English.  I want UK English to be the default.
Changing the default either through Tools/Language setting
or through Start/Programms/Microsoft
Office/Tools/...Language Settings makes no difference.
The PC regional setting is set to UK
Am I missing something?
TIA

Assume you went to Tools-Language and tried to change to Engligh-UK by
clicking on the Default button. But note that this will change the Normal
template so that any NEW documents you create will be in UK English. It DOES
NOT change existing documents. If you use other templates you will have to
change their language settings also.
