I have nothing checked on Tools/Autocorrect/Autocorrect, but I still receive
a steady barrage of warnings that begin, "Microsft Word cannot use Auto
correction. This function is not installed. Do you want to install it now?"
NO, but that only discourages this notice momentarily.  Immediately after
that comes an installation attempt that asks for a CD, which leads to
another negative from me followed by another negative from Word. How do I
stop all this?.

I have Windows XP Home with SP2 and Windows 2000. I do NOT have Office. I
could say in truth that this did not happen before I installed SP2, but the
problem also parallels the re-installation of Word 2000 to a new PC with a
new WinXP pre-installed. Nevertheless, everything else is working fine.

If you have Word, then you're using Office components... Which version of Word
is involved, here?
