I was performing a spell check on a Word doc and received a message something like "Word can not perfrom proofing on a Danish document. You need the correct proofing tool." This document is in English and I am using the English dictionary as the default. Why would I get such a message? -- Rich Because somehow the text in the document has been marked as being Danish language. Open the problem document, press Ctrl+A to select all of the text, and click on Tools | Language | Set Language | <choose your preferred variation of English> | Default | OK.
