every first word on every line?

Under Tools - AutoCorrect
Uncheck -> Capitalize first Letter of sentences

The question - where you phrase this in terms of lines instead of sentences
or paragraphs - suggests you are hitting return at the end of each line.
You only want to hit return at the end of each paragraph - and let Word
break the lines for you.
