Hi,

My spell checker has been non-functional for over a month
now.  I get the message (when I hit F7) "Word cannot find
the spelling file MSSpell3.dll or mssp232.dll for English
(US)"

I've tried reinstalling, but nothing works.  I've tried
copying the MSSpell.dll file from the CD into the folder,
but maybe i'm putting it in the wrong place.  If anyone
can help me, please email me @ Czynski@sc.rr.com

Thanks in advance.

Have you ran the Detect & Repair feature from the Help Menu in Word?

The correct place for MSSpell3.dll is in %CommonProgramFiles%\Microsoft Shared\Proof.
(CommonProgramFiles typically is C:\Program Files\Common Files).
You also need to have MSSP3EN.LEX there (and MSSP3ENA.LEX for Australian)

Good luck,
