No matter what i do, Word keeps on switching the default language back to German immediately. I can choose "default", i can go through the menus or options. No matter. No matter. Do you have "automatic language detection turned on"? If so, try turning it off and see if that help. I regularly compose documents incorporating English, Turkish, and frequently French text.
