How come Word 2002 spellcheck does not catch some two
letter words like "Pf", "mo", "wt", but does catch
others, like "nk", "rt", "ei"?  Do I have to add every
two letter combination that isn't acceptable to the
dictionary?

Hi, JD,

The ones you quoted are considered valid abbreviations of "picofarad"
(unit of capacitance), "month", and "weight" respectively.

I'm not sure whether you're asking to have the others accepted (in
which case you should click the Add button to put them into your
custom dictionary) or to have the first three flagged as errors (add
them to an exclude dictionary, as described at
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/ExcludeWordFromDic.htm).
