I am having a problem linking a drawing created in Autocad
LT 2004.  I can copy and paste without any problem into a
Word 2002 document.  However, if I do a Paste Link, the
drawing in the Word document does not update automatically
whenever I revise or edit the original drawing in Autocad.

If I try to perform a manual update, I get an error
message that says this object is not a valid link.

Has anyone had a problem linking Autocad drawings in Word
documents?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

G'day "Petee Boy" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com>,

It's either the format of the file (If you export as GIF or something
NORMAL like that, it'll probably work) or you dont have update links
on open set.
