Word in Office XP hangs when creating the 128th (or so) text box.
If you have a document with many text boxes, deleting a few allows you to
create some new ones, until you hit the magic number again.

No knowledge base answer exists, but google searches show people have had
this problem since 2000. A Microsoft post on one of their discussion boards
suggests deleting temporary files, but this has nothing to do with (does not
solve) the problem.
I have run all updates/service packs to date.

Please, Microsoft, its time to fix this!

Hi =?Utf-8?B?cmliYmlu?=,

I'm curious: why would you need so many text boxes in one document? Couldn't
you, in some cases at least, use Frames (tool on the Forms toolbar) instead?
