Hello *,

I have a document containing a few pictures and drawings with captions
attached. I did insert a table of figures in my appendix. There I have a very
strange problem, only a part of my captions appear there. I have seven
figures, 1 to 3 and 6 to 7 appear, 4 and 5 are missing.

Does anyone have an idea why this is the case and how I can solve this
problem?

regards,

Hi Goeran

It's likely that the problem captions are in text boxes. Word can't "see"
text in text boxes when it makes up a Table of Figures. The solution is
either to cut the text out of the text box, paste it into the main text, and
delete the text box. Or, convert the text box to a frame.

Hope this helps.

Dear Shauna,

thanks a lot! This was actually the problem. ;) I converted the text boxes
to frames and now all captions are visible.

regards, Goeran
