When Office 2000 was installed, the borders and shading
feature did not install.  It is not in the Format drop-
down and not on the toolbar.  I tried uninstalling Office
and reinstalling and the same problem exists.  Any ideas?

Hi Michele,

Borders and shading isn't an installable feature
choice although it may have been disabled by an
administrator through a policy setting or you
could have a damaged Normal.dot template

If you use Tools=>Customize and right click on
the Format menu and choose 'reset' is it available
or can you drag it to a toolbar from
Tools=>Customize=>Commands list?
