I'm new to XP Word. When I insert a photo and then scroll
through the the doc and then return to view the inserted
photo I find it has been split up. If I click on a portion
of the split photo portions are outside the handle bar
lines. Pleeeeease some one help. You may also call me toll
free at 800-744-6087. Thanks P.S. Never had this problem
with Word 2000

Hi Rob,

MS Office XP changed to a new graphics engine which
was the one then added to Windows XP.  It has some
advantages and some disadvantages.  One of the disadvantages
is that it doesn't always redraw pages as well as it
should when scrolling.  It seems to happen more with
the mouse scroll wheel than with using the scroll sliders.
The graphic type and printer selection can also affect
it as can the size and complexity of the document,
and the Windows version, among s.

Check for updated graphic card drivers for your PC,
an update to MS Direct X, (http://microsoft.com/directx or
http://windowsupdate.com, an updated mouse driver and
bring Office up to date through
 http://office.microsoft.com/productupdates
If you're using Norton Antivirus turn off the
OfficeAV plugin.

The next update to Office XP should have some additional
improvement as well.

Hello Bob,

Thanks for the insight. I'll check for updated drivers.
Once again thanks for the help. The old blood pressure is
back to normal.
