Just upgraded from Word 2000 to Word 2002 on this laptop.  Have expereienced
a problem that I have not seen with a similar installation at home... also it
is inconsistent on this configuration as well.

I do a lot of systems drawings in Power point, and cut and paste them into
Word text boxes.  Been doing this for years.  With this upgrade, on this
machine alone, the drawing pasted into Word is not WYSIWYG: specifically, the
arrows are resized, and as the drawing is resized, they change.  This is
probably some sort of configuration problem, but would appreciate someone
telling me what it is!

Hi Lew,

Have you checked for Office XP/Word 2002 updates through
http://officeupdate.com ?  There was a bug with arrow
sizing that was fixed in Service Pack 3
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;818075&FR=1

Office XP switched to a new MS graphics engine (GDI+)
and there are some things that do behave differently at times.

You may want to try using Edit=>Paste Special to select
different paste formats to see which one works better for
you.

Also check in Tools=>Options=>General for the setting
for creating a drawing canvas (replacement for MS Draw)
automatically.
