I scan text documents without using OCR and save them as .rtf files. When the
document is opened in MS Word 2002 the picture is always sized as 57% of the
original. When it is opened at a work station with MS Word 97, the picture is
not formated and is 100% of the original. How can I set the default picture
size to another value other than 57% without having to format a document
every time it is opened in MS Word 02?

Hi Matt,

Check the setting in Tools=>Options=>General=>[Web Options]=>Pictures
for 'Pixels per Inch' and for screen size to see if that makes
a difference.  Word often uses that setting if the graphic does
not contain its own Pixel per inch value saved in the graphic.

If the graphic is full page width or height then that will also
be a limiting factor.
