unable to open embedded object

using word 2002 , recieved a word file with an
embedded .tif file ... when i click on it to open it i
get and error ...
"the server application, source file, or item cannot be
found. make sure the application is properly installed,
and that it has not been deleted, moved, or renamed."

none of the above has happened ... everyone else can open
these files but me ... any help would be appreciated
greatly !!!!

Most likely the .tif file include .eps formatting, which, if graphics only,
may be opened by Word. Files of text & graphic are printable through a
PostScript printer only.  A .tif variant is used by some OCR programs like
the one in OfficeTools.
