I need an elegant picture of a couple dancing for our Dinner Dance brochure.
I didn't find anythng in the usual on-line clips.  I need it as clip art as
this picture will be shown on the announcement flyer, reservation form, and
program for the event so I will need to reduce and enlarge a single piece.
Musical instrumnets, wine and roses will be fine too.

Thank you.

The one I'm thinking of is one of the classic pieces of clip art from the
earliest versions of Publisher--just a silhouette, but very popular for this
application. I'm currently not finding that particular one, but FWIW a
search for "ballroom" is more productive of the right sort of thing than
"dancer(s)" or "dancing." The file j0415978.wmf at the online site is not
bad, but I'm surprised that the one I'm thinking of is not anywhere in the
34 screens of clip art online.

For a different selection, see

Ah, found the one I was thinking of: Go to
http://www.ectosource.com/photos/WebPics/Clipart02/, click on DANCERS.CGM
and download it.

Thank you Suzanne.  Unfortunately, I could not open the file -- a .cgm file
is not supported by any applications on my computer.  I am using Windows XP
and my internet is a cable connection.  Any thoughts??

Don't try to open it; save it to My Pictures and then insert it into a Word
document. I had no problem inserting this picture into Word using Insert |
Picture | From File.

Thank you Suzanne!  It was a perfect picture and it worked out beautifully!

I have to admit I agree with you regarding the clips on line -- they were
not elegant and that is why I went searching in the user groups.  I
appreciate the input from Mary at Microsoft anyway  - thank you Mary.

There are nine pages (48 clips per page) of dancers on the Microsoft Office web site.

I saw very few I would call "elegant," though.
