Why isn't the auto spell working in Tables? Possibly because the text in the table is formatted as "Do not check spelling and grammar."  SignatureSuzanne S. In that case, and if you are absolutely positive that the exact word is formatted with the correct language and not marked as "Do not check spelling or grammar," then check the custom dictionary to see if it's been added by mistake.
