Hi Len,

There were two flavors of MS .MIX files, flattened (where all of the original shapes created in MS Office Photodraw are grouped as a
single item) and editable (the original format).  Flattened ones can sometimes be used as inserted pictures in Word if the .FPX
import filter (from an earlier version of Office) is installed, but not the editable ones, as the filter can't 'see' all of the
layers/animations).  Thumbsplus from http://cerious.com can, with an add-in open the flattened ones, but in the Office product
family, basically open in Photodraw 2000, then resave as JPG or TIFF, etc.
