Spot colors

I can use Acrobat to output a project; but in Suzanne's last response, she
says you can import spot colors. How do I do this?

'Spot color' is a commercial printing method, not -- contrary to a recent
post -- a color model. For example, if you want a document with the text
printed in black and all the headings in PMS 513, you give the printer two
outputs, both in black: one showing all the text, and one showing all the
headings. For simple print jobs you can do this in Word by setting
everything you don't want to white, print, then do everything else and print
again.

To add to what Jezebel said, since we had been comparing the capabilities of
Word and Publisher wrt printing separations, I was referring to spot color
separations in Publisher, not Word. As he says, there's no built-in way to
do these in Word.
