I update an excel template using data from an Access database.  I am unable
to paste the excel chart to a word doc as it is a template.  As the user
wants to create a report made up of many pie charts/graphs (12 in total) with
the ablility to enter free text at the start of the report any ideas on where
to look for examples of code to save my ".xlt" to a ".xls" without opening
excel so all the users has to do is enter required dates on any Access Form
and push a button to get the report printed - I am a master at cribbing so
any ideas would be appreciated.  Thanks

Can't you copy/paste the actual pie charts into cells in your database?
