Inserting freehand annotations to a 50+ pages Word-2007-document

Hi,
I am using Wacom bamboo tablet with Word 2007 on Vista Ultimate and tried to
add some freehand annotations to a 50+ pages document. When I load the
document, I am able to start the Freehand tools and to add something to the
document. Scolling down in the documnet let the freehand tools disappear - no
chance to enable them again in that doc. ???

Any idea ???

Regards,
Albrecht

Although there may be someone here who can provide an answer, I believe
you'll get more prompt & direct answers from Wacom support... after all,
it's they who claim the compatibility:) If you haven't already done so you
can reach them through this link - just in case you otherwise don't have it
handy:

Hi,
Thanks for your answer. I am nearly sure that this isn't a problem of the
Wacom hardware. I am using only pure Microsoft Technologie in this case
(except the Hardware Driver for the Tablet which is Microsoft Premium Vista
Certified). I am working on Vista using Word 2007 and the pen capabilities
are build-in in both products by MS!!

Meanwhile I did some more tests which direct me towords the assumption that
I must have used features from Word in my document that keep the Freehand
functionality off-duty. But alle features I used are genuine Word 2007.

I hope that somebody made similar experiences and solved his problems so
that I can get some information and help. Maybe somebody from MS reads this
post too and wants to bring their produkt in work with freehand functions in
documents with more than one page :-)

Still on my quest
Regards, Albrecht

Hi Albrecht -

I don't mean to be argumentative, nor am I defending MS, but I evidently
failed to make my point as effectively as I'd hoped:)

Regardless, I still think you'll find quicker, more complete answers in the
Wacom community than you will here... maybe 2% of Windows/Office users have
Wacom tablets, 60-80% of Wacom users are on Windows PCs... there's a much
more concentrated pool of users from which to draw & their technical
people - not MS' - are the ones who make it work:0)
