Why can't I see graphic in message?

I cannot see the inserted graphic my Outlook 2003 message. I have unchecked
the placeholders in Word and thought this would work but it doesn't. How do
you make the pictures/graphics show in an Outlook message?

That is an Outlook question, not a Word question, but whether or not you see
the image is probably dictated by whether you are viewing the message in
HTML format or in Text Only format.
