Can anyone respond to this issue? Thanks in advance.
According to Word's Help, the Compress Picture feature will do the
following:
a. Reduce resolution (to 96 dots per inch (dpi) for Web and 200 dpi for
print), and unnecessary information is discarded.
b. Discard extra information. For example, when a picture has been
cropped or resized, the "hidden" parts of the picture are stored in the
file.
c. Compress the picture, if possible.
If the picture is already low-res and has been compressed, then no further
file size reduction is possible.
