I'm trying to type so that I get different heights with the letters. Similar
to a wave effect or U shape but just so it's not in a straight line...anyone
know how to get that effect or do I need a special program.
Thanks, Adrienne

Have you considered using WordArt - Insert> Picture> WordArt, or use the
button on the Drawing toolbar. It's on the Insert tab of the Ribbon in 2007.
Detail available in Word Help.
