I set up a one-cell table in Word 2003; 8 cm exact height, 8 cm preferred
width, unchecked the Options | Resize to fit contents.

I then tried to insert a photograph into the cell but the whole thing
resized. How do I prevent this, please.

TIA
Janey

Hi, Janey,

Right-click the cell and choose AutoFit - Fixed Column Width. Does that make
it stay put?

No - tried that! It does hold the width but the length changes to the
original size of the picture.
