Charts not printing properly in Word 2007

Hello,

I have a user who pasted some Excel charts into a Word 2007 document. They
look fine in the document, as well as Print Preview. However, when we print
the document, the charts get cut off because they are printing larger than
displayed in the document. I wasn't sure where to start looking for a
solution.

I apologize if this is the wrong group to post the question.

Thanks for any suggestions!

We tried copying and pasting again, and things seem to be fine now.

If anyone could give a reason as to why we had the initial printing problem,
I'd appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks!

Did you ever find an answer to your question? I am currently having the same
issue, when I paste link charts from excel. I haven't tried to see if pasting
a second time corrects the issue. Does anyone have insight into this issue.

I played around with the charts more after posting, and noticed that the zoom
percentage of the chart when copied from excel had an impact on the way the
file printed. For linked charts, at least that is what I was working with, I
had to make sure the zoom percentage was at 100% in order to get the chart to
print correctly when I resized it to fit in Word. I had to delete any chart
that I had copied, and pasted when the zoom percent was not 100% to correct
my issue.

I hope this feedback helps someone.

Hi Brian,

Thanks so much for your research. I'll keep this post handy, in case it
happens again. I really appreciate your responding to my question.

Have a great day!
