Hi all,

Hopefully a quick question.
I'm looking to insert a picture on the footer of my page relative to the
bottom and right edges of the page (as opposed to the top & left).

The reason i would like this is so that when the page size or orientation
changes, the picture will move automatically to the new corner of the page.

for you information, i am locating my pictures currently by going to
Format Picture-> Layout-> Advanced
and then locating my pictures using Absolute Positions relative to the Page.
I haven't seemed to have better luck using the other options.

Thanks in advance,
David

You might try using the settings for Relative to Right Margin & Bottom
Margin instead of the Absolutes.

Hi there,

Thank you Bob for the suggestion.  I have tried to locate the pictures i'm
dealing with relative to the margins as you suggested.
It seems to have worked as you have suggested, but in order to make the
pictures appear where i want them, i'm going to have to make my margins quite
small, and squish the text that i have in the bottom left corner.

I'm thinking i may need to have my text in a text box and then my picture
both aligned relative to the margins.
I was also contemplating using a macro to change the locations of the
picture(s) in question.  I know the locations depending on the page size i
want, I am just unable to select the picture on the current page in the
macro.  It seems i can only select a picture when i know its name.

If aligning them relative to the margins doesn't work, how about Relative to
Page?

Thank you for the help... I did end up making my pictures relative to the
margin, then modified all my margins to the offsets i wanted and put my text
for the footer in a text box also referenced to the margins.

It all works perfectly now, i can make my pages any orientation or size and
pictures (& text box) go exactly where i'm expecting.
