In Word 97, under Format Picture, the picture position details (eg.
horizontal and vertical positioning) was one of the main tabs. In Word 2003,
I can only find it by going to Format Picture, Layout, Advanced. As I
frequently adjust the picture position settings, is there any easy way of
making that Advanced section accessible?

Well, double-clicking the picture is one way to get to the Format Picture
dialog more quickly. You can also assign a keyboard shortcut to the
FormatPicture command through Tools> Customize.
It may also be possible to assign a keystroke directly to the Layout>
Advanced features but I haven't been able to identify the exact command
required. Perhaps someone else knows which one it would be if there is one.
Otherwise you can record a macro to access the dialog & assign a keystroke
to the macro and/or add it to a toolbar as a button.
