how to position a graphic inside a text box

I wish to place a graphic inside a text box containing text. Once I place the
graphic inside the box the ability is lost to wrap text left or right etc. Is
there a way around this?

No. A text box is already in the drawing layer. Everything inside it must be
In Line With Text.
