Can't view any graphics

Right now I can't view any graphics at all in Word (2000), even wmf files.  I have the option to view drawing objects checked, but still no luck. The objects print, but I can't resize them or anything anymore.

Go into Tools|Options|View and make sure 'Picture
Placeholders' is unchecked.
