I need to save or convert a Word document to either a JPEG or a PDF format? What is the easiest way to do this?

You may want to scan then save.as to PDF format - Why didn't I think of
that...?
You may open a new document in your Graphic's App, then copy and past your
word doc into the Graphic, Save.As and test  - Why didn't I think of
that...?

Orleans...You should always boot into SAFE MODE to install / remove /
configure Hardware & Software > Click > Start > Settings > Control Panel >
Add/Remove

The simplest ways to save to jpeg are to output to fax and save the fax
document; or (more elegant) use the excellent SnagIt app's printer driver.
SnagIt is linked from the Favourites page of my web site.

For PDF's you'll need PDF writing software such as Acrobat or one of the
cheaper clones. The same web page will give you a link for that too.
