I'm writing to inquire whether there is any way to insert unicode
characters into Word v.X for Macintosh OSX. So far as I can tell, v.X
does not support extended unicode character sets. Is there a
workaround? If there's no workaround, when does Microsoft plan to
add this essential capability to v.X?

Thanks for your help!

I am not sure of the answer, but if no one else knows, you might have better
luck asking in microsoft.public.mac.office.word instead....

Thanks, Michael. Yes, I did get some answers (clumsy but effective)
there.
