When I type "6 October 2003" and then CReturn Word adds
this "10-07" so that I get.

6 October 2003-10-07

How can I stop everobliging Word to not complete my
sentences for me.

Thanks,

Pierre

Hi Pierre,

I get around this by pressing ESC (or spacebar) before
pressing Enter.

You can turn off AutoComplete for all functions in Word in
Tools/autoCorrect options/AutoText.
