   Dear all!

I work in a large government company which has some
thousands of licensed copies of word xp with the latest
service pack applied. We started noticing that word
crashes too often when a certain sequence of words are
typed. This often resulted in loss of data.  The only
thing we're able to do in order to avoid this annoyance,
was to disable the spellchecker. Microsoft was informed of
the problem but no service pack was made available to
correct the problem. The only "solution" we could offer to
our customers was to reinstall office without any service
packs (since the problem appeared after the installation
of the last one). Needless to say, it's causing us a lot
of trouble. Is there anything that could be done ?? I
thank you all in advance. If you prefer, you may reply to
me privately at marcos@tj.rs.gov.br

Please respond in the same thread on this newsgroup. Make sure you
include details of your application and Windows versions, and whether
or not you have included any service pack updates.
