Hi!

Does anyone know if it is possible to have oriental text
so that the characters go from top to bottom or right to
left across the page?

When it works, I use a Simplified Chinese Global IME in
Office/Word 2000 and WinMe OS, but the only option I have
seen is to have text going left to right like in western
text.

Thanks!

I am not sure if this is possible on non-Asian editions of Windows ME. At
the very least, you'll have to enable Chinese editing through the Office
Language Settings tool.

Check Word's help by looking up "Chinese" or "East Asian".

Thanks for the tip. I shall check it once I have got my
IME working again! (see my previous posting)
