Word switched to French

Hi all,

Yesterday Word 2000. worked fine. Today, Word is french. my spell checker
is french, certain menus are in french.

Please help.

It sounds like you have an Office multilanguage user-interface pack
installed. USe the Office Language Setting Tool to restore it to English.

Independently of this, the spell-checker will switch to French if the text
is marked as French. This can happen through the keyboard language being set
to French, or language detection misfiring.

That sounds right. I had just installed MS Project, and it installed
something that created an icon in my system tray about language support or
something like that.

I have never heard of Office Language Setting Tool. I will search for it,
but can you also tell me how to access it?

Start > Programs > Microsoft Office Tools
