Where can I get dictionaries extensions for Word so
that it could spell check other languages?
The one I have is English
I'd be grateful for any help given.

If you have Word 97, then there is nothing available from Microsoft.
If you have Word 2000 or later, then you'll have French and Spanish on your
CD as well.
If you have Word 2002 or later, then you can buy the corresponding Office
Proofing Tools CD that includes dozens of other languages.

Hi there,
I have Office 2000 with English Word. I also own a copy of Danish Word.
Is there a way of simply copying a second spelling dictionary (in this case
Danish) into the English Word. I think this used to work under Word 6.0.

Thanks,

Tilman

You could install just the Danish proofing tools. Note, that each language
has its own spell-checker that has to be installed along with lexicons etc.
