You can go to Office -> Microsoft Office Tools -> Microsoft Office Language
Setting -> Remove East Asian and Complex Script Languages. If Office
Language Setting does not detect these international languages, it will not
show those international font options.

Does anyone know how to remove the Asian Fonts and Languages from Microsoft
Office XP? I've tried everything I could think of and I'm stuck.
When I went into Word, in Office XP, I noticed that each page had a "_|" at
each corner and I don't know what that is. I've recently been to a travel
website that required my computer be able to read the site in the asian
languages and I accidentally installed some of them. It's only now that I
thought that that particular incident led to my current problem.
As yet I don't know if those "brackets" or whatever they are will show up if
I print a document or not. However when I go into a document that I've been
working on, saved to a disk, those brackets are still there.
Help!
Confused and perplexed.
