I would like to know how can I add only 1 language in the
word 2000 dictionary. My Office came with English, Spanish
and French.
For example, to check spelling for Portuguese, the
computer gave a message that it could not find the file
mssp.3PB.dll or mssp.232.dll for  Portuguese(Brazil).
I got this file from another computer but I don't know how
to add it.
Since it is only 1 language I would not like to buy the
office 2000 proofing tools.
Thanks

It is a violation of the license agreement to simply copy the file from
another machine. The two legal avenues for getting Proofing Tools are:

A) Buying the version of Office localized into the language in question
(when it exists and is available)

B) Buying the Proofing Tools

It would be most responsible to not either violate a license or cause
someone else to by copying their file(s), all things considered....
