Hi,

I'm trying to find out whether Word keyboard shortcuts are
the same in every language. - We're keen to deploy a multi
language Word template to 22 languages including Mandarin,
Japanese and Korean, but can't seem to find a list of Word
shortcuts across multiple languages information on the MS
word website.

thanks in advance Mal

Hi--

No, keyboard shortcuts are different in different languages.  I don't know what they are for Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean, but I
use both French and English, and I know that they are different for those two languages.  They are related to what the actual
words are.  For example, the "File" command is "Fichier" in French, and so those are both Alt-f.  However, "View" in English is
"Affichage" in French, and so the French keyboard shortcut for that is Alt-a, whereas for English it's (I think) Alt-v.

If you go here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;KBJUMP

and enter this knowledge base article number:

122230

you will find instructions for generating a list of keyboard shortcuts.  I think, however, it will depend on the language of the version
of Office that you run it in.
