chinese ime

I downloaded a simplified chinese IME form the website
here, but when i installed it, nothing happened. the
option for simplified chinese isn't in my language
optins.  this is the first time i have used an IME.

any idea whats wrong?

I asume you downloaded the ActiveIME on a Win9x system? This IME will only
work in applications that know it exists and integrate with it, like IE and
Word 2000/XP.
