I've just purchased a new pc that came with "Microsoft
Office Student and Teacher Edition 2003 Trial" When I go
to tools, set lanquage, I get the message "The list of
common spanish(Spain-modern sort)AutoCorrections is not
available. This feature is not currently installed. Would
you like to install it now. Of course when I try to
install it the system request the "Microsoft Office
Standard Edition 2003 Disk"(which of course I do not have)
or, as an alternate, it says "try to find the
installation package STDIIN.MSI in a folder from which
you can install the product Microsoft Office Standard
Edition. How can this problem be fixed? Can the required
files be downloaded? Please helP!
Thanks a lot "John"

Hi John,
These files cannot be downloaded. If you don't have the CD
and the CD contents were not copied to a folder on the
harddrive, then you can't use that language.
By deactivating the Spanish language on your system you
should be able to avoid the error message. Look for
Microsoft Office Language Settings somewhere in
Start/Programs.
You should contact the manufacturer of the PC about getting
all the proper files installed. I find it odd that a
Student/Teacher edition is installed on a new machine; you
better hope the manufacturer has the correct licenses and
isn't passing on pirated software...
