I have been trying to downlaod IME for my computer but I
always get a message says "it requires office XP." Well,
I never had Office XP on my computer but I do have office
2003. I would like to know if it is possible to download
Japanese IME with just Office 2003, and if it is, how I
am able to do so. Thanks and any help will be greatly
appriciated.

I am using Ofice XP and Proofing Tools to type in
Japanese.  I haven't seen a downloadable version of the
2003 IME, but there is a version of Proofing Tools for
2003.  That is a definate way to do what you want to do,
but it is going to be bout $80...or at least the 2002
verstion was.  The only thing I don't like about the
Japanese part of Proofing Tools is that there is no
Radical Input Method Editor.  :(  ...tear....  If anyone
knows how to imput radicals into word let me know.  It
would make me happy.  :)
