How does one remove asian support from ms word. This is a feature I do not use. If you have Word 2002 or 2003 and Windows XP, then click on Start | All Programs | Microsoft Office Tools | Microsoft Office Language Settings | Enabled Languages tab | <remove the languages you don't want from the "Enabled languages" box>. > How does one remove asian support from ms word. I strongly suggest that you BACK UP THE REGISTRY if you choose to try this... Close all open applications, run regedit, rename the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\<version>\Common\LanguageResources, exit regedit, restart Windows, and restart Word (Word should automatically rebuild the key you just renamed with the factory default settings).
